Terms of service
Last updated October 11, 2026
By creating a Circuit Ledger account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.
The service
Circuit Ledger is a tool for recording electrical panel schedules and service history. A directory, a verified date or a printed label is a record of what your team found, not proof that a circuit is de-energized: always test before touching, follow NFPA 70E, OSHA lockout/tagout rules, the NEC and your local authority. We aren't responsible for electrical work, injuries, equipment damage or downtime.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- The company owner controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.
Plans and billing
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
- New companies get a 14-day free trial with no card. After the trial, or if a plan lapses, your data stays readable and exportable, but adding and changing records needs a plan, and the account has the Solo plan's limits and logins until you subscribe.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Your data
Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.
Availability
We work to keep Circuit Ledger running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using Circuit Ledger at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
